Rob Friedman, former CIO of Mutual Series, has resurfaced with plans for a value and event-driven hedge fund. Friedman has partnered with three professionals and is planning to debut this month.
The fund will be launched under New York-based Savannah-Baltimore Capital. Friedman was both the CIO and a portfolio manager at Mutual Series, where he ran the Mutual European fund and co-managed the Mutual Discovery fund.
Joining him at Savannah-Baltimore are: Noah Eccles, former senior analyst at Clovis Capital; Alex Gildengers, a former managing director at New York-based Sierra Global, and Brendan Maher, previously a partner and co-founder of
