A trio of managing directors at Perry Capital have banded together to form Homefield Capital. The New York-based firm is planning the launch of a pair of opportunistic equity funds in the third quarter. One fund will focus on the U.S. market and the other will have an international focus. The trio is expected to raise at least $100 million.
The funds will be run by Bill Feil and Rick Crosby, and William Vernon will be the chief financial officer. Feil was a former portfolio manager at the $5 billion hedge fund Perry Capital, where he focused on companies
