New York-based Ritchie Capital Management has named Thomas Juterbock head of global macro trading. In his new post, Juterbock will assemble a team and run the firm's macro initiative, covering currencies, equities and commodities.
Before joining Ritchie Capital, Juterbock had been with at Morgan Stanley, where he spent two decades as trader before being promoted to a managing director in 1990. During his tenure at Morgan Stanley. Juterbock oversaw mortgage-backed trades, government-bond trading and had most recently run the investment bank's proprietary macro-trading desk in New York.
