Lone Pine helps Clinton-Bush AIDS initiative


You may have already heard that former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush Sr. teamed up to raise cash to battle the AIDS epidemic in Africa. But what you probably didn't know is that Steven Mandel and his $9 billion hedge fund shop, Lone Pine Capital, were the largest private financial backers of the humanitarian effort.
