Chilton rolls out natural resources fund to tap into bull market


Richard Chilton's eponymous Chilton Investment Company has rolled out a natural resources fund to capitalize on what many expect will be a continuing bull market in several commodities. The launch reflects continuing interest among hedge funds in the natural resources sector.

The multi-strategy Chilton Global Natural Resources Partners launched on September 1 with new hire Leigh Goerhing at the helm. Goerhing, a specialist in the natural resources sector, joined the firm in May after a long and successful tenure running the Jennison Natural Resources fund, which posted double-digit returns for nearly 15 years.
