Could fees be falling?

Starting November 1, Balyasny Asset Management started charging a set management fee of 2%, saving its investors 2% to 3% as they had previously paid about 5% in expenses. The firm continues pass through compensation for its 10 portfolio managers, but any additional expenses are now being charged against the the 20% performance fee collected by founder Dmitry Balyasny.
