Symphony Asset Management has opened to investors a credit opportunities strategy that it had been managing as part of a larger multistrategy vehicle since last year.
Run by Gunther Stein, partner and director of fixed-income, the Credit Opportunities fund takes directional views in each position and makes long and short investments across all credit asset classes.
The new launch is Symphony's sixth single-strategy offering. Symphony also runs two multistrategy funds, one that focuses on fixed-income strategies and another that makes a combination of fixed- income and long/short investments.
