Goldman Sachs prime brokerage executive Jeffrey Strauss is leaving the firm after 23 years. The chief of staff for the U.S. client services group, Strauss will be departing the firm at the end of March.
Strauss plans to take a six-month sabbatical before he considers his next move. Goldman has yet to announce who will take over his duties.
Strauss joined Goldman Sachs in 1979. Prior to being named to his current position, Strauss managed the prime brokerage sales and marketing team focused on fundamental long/short hedge funds. He briefly left the firm in 1995 to help Smith
