Touradji hires Goldman veteran to head equity trading


Tiger cub Paul Touradji's eponymous Touradji Capital Management, a $1 billion equity and commodity shop launched in February 2005, has hired Ben Bram as head of equity trading, a new position.

Bram joins from Goldman Sachs, where he spent 21 years in the equity trading division, at the managing director level since 1998. At Goldman, Bram oversaw trading in consumer and healthcare equities.

Bram will oversee all equity trading at Touradji, which has come off a terrific first year. The flagship Touradji Global Resource Fund netted nearly 22% in its first 11 months of operation, in part due to
