Richard Chilton's Chilton Investment has hired Chris Rae to serve as managing director in its client relations department.
Rae joins Chilton from Goldman Sachs, where he was a v.p. in the pension services group. Rae's mandate will be to develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, including pension plans.
Chilton, based in New York City and Stamford, Conn., runs about $3 billion, most of which is invested in an array of long/short equity strategies.
