Industry veteran John Budzyna is stepping down from his post as chief executive of Olympia Capital Associates, a New York-based administrator for hedge funds and fund of funds.
Budzyna joined Olympia Capital in March 2005 in the newly created position of CEO and global strategist. These positions were established especially for Budzyna, and there is no current plan to replace him.
Olympia Capital Associates will continue to be run on a day-to-day basis by president Barbara Lewnowski and chief operating officer Larry Platoni. Lewnowski and Platoni have worked together at Olympia Capital since 1994.
Budzyna is resigning for personal reasons.
