Dwight Anderson's Ospraie Management recently began trading a third investment strategy.
Ospraie Special Opportunities focuses on the less liquid - and potentially highly profitable - markets within the basic industry and commodity sectors that Ospraie cannot exploit with its other funds.
The new vehicle is managed by Anderson together with John Duryea, who joined the firm last year from private equity giant Ripplewood Holdings. Previously, Duryea was part of a private equity team at Goldman Sachs.
