Dalton Strategic Partnership, the London-based asset manager, has opened an office in New York to spearhead the firm's push into the United States. As part of the move, DSP has hired Steven Golann from Focus Investment, a fund of funds, to head the effort.
Dalton was founded in 2002 by Andrew Dalton and a number of his former colleagues from Mercury Asset Management/Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. The firm runs hedge funds as well as long-only money and sports some impressive returns.
