Duma beefs up event-driven muscle with Clinton recruit


Duma Capital Management has hired event-driven specialist Amit Bhatiani away from the Clinton Group.


At Duma, Bhatiani will hold the title of partner and will help run Duma's event-driven portfolio. At one time while at George Hall's $1.1 billion Clinton Group, Bhatiani was running about $500 million of assets - as much as Duma now manages. Thus far this year, Bhatiani is said to have posted double-digit returns in his portfolio.
