After February's distressingly flat performance, U.S. equity funds picked up where they left off, with the Absolute Return median gaining a respectable 1.7% in March, bringing the total this year to 4.98%. That figure beats the Absolute Return Composite median, which gained 1.37%. But it lags behind the breakneck performance of Global Equity, whose index produced a March return of 1.82% helped in part by strong gains in European and select Asian markets. For the year, Global Equity is up 6.3%.
