U.S. equity strategies continued to benefit from rising markets, lifting the Absolute Return U.S. Equity composite up 1.62% for April, for a year-to-date return of 6.68%. The Absolute Return Global Equity index gained 1.32% for the month, boosted in part by a rally in Asia - to total 7.71% for the year.
Both long/short equity indices continue to outperform the S&P500, which returned 1.22% in March, bringing its year-to-date performance to 4.99%. The MSCI World Index (ex-USA), meanwhile, gained 4.54% in U.S. dollars.
