Karsch spinoff hires for new CFO post


Newbrook Capital, a New York global long/short equity fund launched by two Karsch Capital Management alums in February has created a CFO position and hired accountant Christopher Reed to fill the post. Reed comes from the accounting firm Goldstein Golub Kessler, where he has worked for 23 years, most recently as an audit partner.

Newbrook was founded by Robert Boucai and Bob Poushanchi who were, respectively, a managing director and analyst at Karsch. Their specialties are in technology, media and telecommunications, lodging and consumer stocks (Boucai) and cyclical and industrial stocks (Poushanchi).
