San Francisco-based hedge fund manager J. Carlo Cannell has left the city for greener pastures - namely, those of Jackson, Wyoming.
Cannell last month relocated his Cannell Capital Management to the small mountain town, which is known more for skiing and fishing than money management but has recently attracted second homes from other hedge fund managers.
Cannell's long/short equity operation has netted more than 25% since its founding in 1992, but Cannell has held his firm's assets down to about $900 million.
