Druckenmiller's $1.5m golf habit

 Stanely Druckenmiller

When it comes to expensive golf courses, few may compare with the latest that Stanley Druckenmiller has joined. The founder of Duquesne Capital Management is a member of the new Sebonack Golf Club in the Hamptons, a recently-opened course that charges $12,000 in annual dues and $650,000 for a membership fee that includes accommodations at 15 luxury guest houses built along the greenway. But Druckenmiller, a founding member at Sebonack, paid much more: $1.5 million for rights to first pick on tee times.
