Kovner project raises $459 million

Arts patron as well as Caxton Corp. founder Bruce Kovner is playing a key fundraising role as head of Lincoln Center's "West 65th Street Project," a major redevelopment effort. Lincoln Center announced in June that it had raised $459 million out of a target of $650 million for the renovation, the first of its kind since the 1950s. The goal is to transform the Manhattan institution's plaza into a "Street for the Arts" that will feature new glass enclosures and expanded public space.
