Media maven Dan Loeb has now landed in Men's Vogue, of all places. Bizarrely, the topic of the December 2006 item was Loeb's behavior at a private dinner with other money managers during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, a full year ago. According to Vogue, Loeb ruffled feathers of the private equity pooh-bahs in attendance by attacking them for "hoarding profits that rightly belonged to public shareholders." Sadly, the author of so many artful attacks on corporate America has of late been strangely quiet and civil. No wonder Men'sVogue wrote about year-old misbehavior.
