Lazard hires Reynolds for relative value push


Lazard Asset Management announced this week that it has hired Sean Reynolds from Sailfish Capital Partners to build a relative value strategies group. The new group is expected to add a range of products, such as convertible arbitrage, to the firm’s alternative investment lineup.

Based in New York, Reynolds is a Lazard director and serves as a senior portfolio manager, specializing in events, special situations and convertible arbitrage strategies, a new position.

From August 2006 to March 2007, Reynolds managed convertible arbitrage relative value strategies for Sailfish Capital Partners, a spinoff of SAC Capital Advisors. Prior to Sailfish, Reynolds
