Mochrie leaves Cyrus Capital


Cyrus Capital Partners said that Doreen Mochrie, partner and chief marketing officer, stepped down at the end of March to spend more time with her young family.

A prominent woman in the male-dominated land of hedge funds, Mochrie joined the $1.3 billion Cyrus in the spring of 2005 from the Swiss firm Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch, where she was a senior U.S. institutional marketer.

Cyrus, a New York-based distressed specialist, manages three funds. The firm has hired Alison Bennett, an associate director in marketing and client services at MacKay Shields, to assume the client service and investor relations
