100 Women in Hedge Funds elects Popkin as president


The hedge fund association 100 Women in Hedge Funds announced this week that it has elected Anne Popkin as president. Popkin replaces Amanda Pullinger, who served a two-year term as president and in January was named executive director of the organization, a new position.

Popkin has been a member of the board of directors of 100 Women since last year and had served as chair of the education committee. Until February, Popkin was managing director in Lehman Brothers’ absolute return strategies group.

She has also spent time at Financial Risk Management in its hedge fund and fund-of-fund businesses,
