Joseph DiMartino, chairman of the mutual fund boards for Dreyfus, has joined Ivory Investment Management as a senior advisor.
In this new role, DiMartino will work closely with Ivory founder Curtis Macnguyen and other senior members of the Ivory team on both strategic and organizational issues. Ivory, based in Los Angeles, manages about $3.5 billion in value-oriented long/short strategies.
DiMartino will be based in Ivorys New York office and will continue to serve his role at Dreyfus. He offers Ivory an extensive background in the money management industry, as a portfolio manager, equity trader and top-level operational manager.
