The Managed Funds Association (MFA) has hired Marc Charon as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
Charon replaces Kate Rice, who served in the same role for the past decade, and recently left to join the Futures Industry Association.
Charon was previously employed by the SmithBucklin Corporation, the worlds largest association management company, where he was vice president for financial management & accounting services.
He will be responsible for the MFAs daily business operations, including financial administration and budget management, membership development and services, human resources, marketing and communications, and educational conferences and seminars.
