You know a story is tragic when you feel equally embarrassed for all the characters involved. Such is the case of Michael Jackson vs. Fortress Investment Group. The latest is the fallen pop icon's plan to pay off debt owed to Fortress by remaking his famous "Thriller" video as a 25th anniversary spectacular. Jackson had until Halloween to make $5 million in overdue interest payments to Fortress, which purchased a $270 million loan from Bank of America to Jackson in 2005.
