Griffin charity gets $2.3 million

The Industry Group 100 Women in Hedge Funds raised $2.3 million in November for the iMentor program created by Blue Ridge Capital's John Griffin. The all-star crowd gathered for the Manhattan event included Julian Robertson, Steve Mnuchin and Jack Meyer - all of whom are volunteers and donors involved with Griffin's youth-mentorship program. Part of the cash raised came from auctions of items including lunches with Nobel Prize winners.
