Following the highly successful launch of its Capstone Volatility Master Fund in August, Capstone Investment Advisors is readying its second offering, a fund that will go long volatility.
Capstone Vega Shield will begin trading in April, with the same managers as the firm's Volatility Master Fund. The master fund is run out of New York by a team led by chief investment officer Paul Britton. Following a net gain of 9.53% in its first month, it was already up 19.18% by the end of December.
