Barrett to rejoin Morgan Stanley

Dave Barrett, who left Morgan Stanley’s prime brokerage unit four years ago to join Merrill Lynch, is returning to the fold. Barrett, who will start work in early June, will be in charge of Morgan Stanley’s “value-add consulting to clients that want capital or are reorganizing or entering into strategic consolidations,” said Stu Hendel, global head of prime brokerage at Morgan Stanley.
