SkyBridge has formed its ninth strategic relationship with a hedge fund, investing an unspecific amount in the Capital Returns Master fund, a long/short equity vehicle focused on the insurance sector. Capital Returns was founded in 2003 by Ronald Bobman, previously a portfolio manager with Bedford Oak Advisors.
SkyBridge launched in January 2006 with a $330 million fund designated for making seed investments in young and startup hedge funds. Previous investments include allocations to Abdiel Capital, Brompton Cross Capital Advisers, Citta Capital Management, Ironshield Capital Management, Outpoint Capital Management, Steeplechase Capital Partners, U.
