ARK raises $50m for disadvantaged children


Absolute Return for Kids – the big European-based industry charity group – raised more than $50 million at its seventh annual fundraising dinner held last night at the historic Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London. More than 1,000 guests, predominantly from the financial industries, came together to support ARK’s programs, which have transformed the lives of 65,000 children.

ARK provides lifesaving health care to families blighted by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa, supports children in care in Eastern Europe and provides educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in the UK through its academies and training programs.
