Elizabeth Flisser, president of Capital Z Asset Management, will step down in mid-August after nine years at the firm. Meanwhile, the New York firm, which sponsors hedge fund startups, announced that it has hired Bear Stearns veteran James Marrone as chief marketing officer.
Flisser, who was named president of Capital Z this year, has been responsible for identifying and structuring hedge-fund sponsorship investments. She sits on the boards of several funds.
