MFA hires policy wonk Hollingsworth for outreach role


The Managed Funds Association, the chief U.S. hedge fund lobbying group, has hired Roger Hollingsworth as executive v.p. and managing director for government relations, a role in which he will liaise with the United States congress, executive branch and regulatory agencies.

Hollingsworth, who will report to MFA president and chief executive Richard Baker, was previously deputy staff director and senior policy advisor to Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) at the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, of which Dodd was committee chairman.
