Goldman Sachs has always had a flair for doing things big. Unfortunately for investors in the firm’s Goldman Sachs Investment Partners fund, that includes racking up big losses.
After only nine months of operation, the fund – a global long/short equity investment strategy that launched with $7 billion on January 1 – had already lost nearly $1 billion as of the end of September.
