Father/son duo sue Touradji over oil and gas venture

Paul Touradji, who trades commodity futures and natural resources companies through his $3.5 billion Touradji Capital Management, is facing separate lawsuits in New York and Texas filed by father and son.

In a recent letter to investors, Touradji wrote that the firm has been sued in connection with an investment made by an affiliate, DeepRock Venture Partners, an oil and gas exploration company named Playa Oil & Gas. DeepRock Venture Partners at one time was managed by Gentry Beach and counted his father, Gary M. Beach, as an investor.
