New Hampshire revisits asset mix with a view to embracing absolute return


The $5 billion New Hampshire Retirement System may consider absolute return strategies again as an investment head is named and an asset liability study is completed in the coming months.

Lawrence Johansen joined the senior management team at New Hampshire as director of investments, replacing Richard Shafer, who left to join the Ohio Public Employees' Retirement System as deputy director of investments in mid 2009.
