IGS Group and MSS Capital have launched MAG (Managed Accounts and Governance) Consultancy, a joint-venture to design and build separate managed account platforms for asset owners, hedge fund allocators and institutional investors.
Between them, the firms have managed six such platforms. IGS, founded by John Godden, formerly of HFR, is a consultancy to both investors and product providers in multi-alternative assets investment. MSS, which has an eight-year track record of building platforms, has raised over $1 billion for its asset management products and offers advice to third-party investors.
