The $39 billion Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board is understood to have terminated its contracts with Ivy Asset Management and Austin Capital. It has also issued a request for proposal for firms interested in providing general consulting services and/or hedge fund of funds consulting services.
The deadline for responses was 23 January. The pension system was looking for firms that offer both general consulting and fund of hedge fund services or focused on the fund of hedge fund component separately.
