Peter Stein, the University of Chicago's chief investment officer, will leave the $6 billion endowment investment office at the end of June.
Stein joined as CIO in 2005 from Princeton University Investment Company, where he spent five years as managing director focusing on investments in hedge funds, domestic equities and fixed-income. Before Princeton, he spent 15 years in a variety of fund management and trading roles at hedge funds and investment banks.
