Pamplona mulls distressed launch when timing is right

Under the year long stewardship of François Langlade-Demoyen, Pamplona Capital Management's fund of hedge funds business hit more than $1 billion in assets and is in the throws of establishing a new distressed strategy. The opportunities in the distressed space are increasing but timing is crucial and Langlade-Demoyen expects to launch the product when the timing is right.

Since joining he has made some major changes to the portfolios adding strategies such as long/short equities, managed futures and global macro.
