Notz Stucki has closed the doors on its New York-based investment team, a little over six months after they joined.
Notz Stucki recruited Manuel Echeverria, chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Optimal Investment Services, and his team, which includes Hugh Burnaby-Atkins and Balkir Zihnali, to join the Swiss private bank on September 2008.
Notz Stucki, which did not have a New York office of its own, had an advisory agreement with a US-based company, where Burnaby-Atkins and Zihnali were to be based. According to Notz Stucki, however, recent market developments altered these plans.
