Church Pension opens in Asia

Eric Mason, who was the head of Carlyle's Asia Leverage Finance Fund, is joining the Church Pension Fund of the Episcopal Church.

Based in Hong Kong, Mason will oversee the $7 billion pension fund's assets in the region across all asset classes. He has been active in the private equity industry in Asia most notably spending 12 years with JP Morgan.
