Singapore-based SaKa Capital is launching an Asian credit-focused strategy that will trade liquid corporate bonds and derivatives, CBs (convertible bonds) and credit indices.
Founder and portfolio manager Assan Din is a well known credit specialist who ran Asia (ex-Japan) and Europe credit operations for Lehman Brothers' global principal strategies group, first from London and then from Singapore.
Din was also instrumental in setting up R3 Capital Management mid-2008, a Lehman Brothers spinoff, but departed from R3 prior to its sale to BlackRock.
His new fund's portfolio will be focused on liquid or easily traded instruments. The fund's target returns
