Angelien Kemna becomes chief investment officer of the Dutch pension manager All Pensions Group (APG) and chief executive officer of APG Asset Management on 1 November, overseeing $305 billion in assets.
She succeeds Roderick Munsters, who moved to Robeco in September. APG specialises in administering collective pension schemes and handles the assets of the Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, the pension scheme for Dutch education and government workers.
The fund has recently increased its allocation to hedge funds within the global tactical asset allocation portfolio that is set up to profit from short-term market inefficiencies.
