Aviva Investors is mulling the addition of two new hedge fund strategies as part of the continued expansion of its alternative investments platform.
One would be a UK-focused long/short European equity fund run by former Magnetar man Julius Lipner, who has been with Aviva for the past several months. The other would be a relative value-based credit strategy, managed within the fixed-income group led by Shahid Ikram that runs the firm's award-winning G7 Fixed Income strategy.
