Global equity funds continued to produce solid gains in September, with several funds posting very strong gains on the month and many players now sitting on significant year-to-date returns.
Energy-related strategies were to the fore. Guinness Energy added 10.67% in September and is up a hefty 72.34% on the year, making it one of the highest-performing funds in the peer group. RAB Energy gained 6.30% in for a YTD showing of nearly 78%, while the firm's Global Mining and Resources Fund added 8.77% for a YTD return of 72.39%.
