Rothschild's Blackpoint Global Trading Fund is up 12.65% for the year, more than three times the composite for the global-macro universe. Since inception in January 2005, the fund has annualised performance of 8.4% with annualised volatility of 5.6%. The $101 million fund, which was up 1.59% in September, invests with a total of 34 funds divided into systematic and quantitative managers, discretionary global macro, such as Brevan Howard, and trading diversification. The fund recently added a medium-term systematic manager, taking the total number of managers to 28.
