Credit Suisse, Man create managed account platform

Man Investments and Credit Suisse have launched a managed accounts joint venture in response to demands for transparency, liquidity and control. Despite estimates that the economics for building a do-it-yourself managed accounts platform works with $500 million under management, some big name banks - thought to include UBS, JP Morgan and Credit Suisse - are understood to have concluded that the break even point is much higher.
