Elmore Capital, a Hong Kong start-up by Shin Kong family scion Cynthia Wu, and Giles Money-Coutts, former head of UK M&A at Société Générale, has rolled out the Elmore Asian Multi-Strategy Alpha Fund.
The quant-driven, market-neutral strategy covers various asset classes, such as Asian equities, Asian currencies and commodities.
All the fund's highly regarded core management team at Shin Kong has relocated to Hong Kong to manage the fund. It has been running since June 2006 with about $90 million in assets from Taiwanese life insurance major, Shin Kong Life.
The fund targets Libor + 20% per annum with
